2015 Physics Summer Camp

The 2015 NMSU Physics Summer Camp began as a goal of Dr. Stefan Zollner, Department of Physics Head. The camp took place July 6th-10th and ran daily from 10:30 to 5:30. Four physics undergraduates designed the program and served as camp counsellors to ten students. Each day, students learned the fundamentals of certain physics concepts, such as electricity and magnetism and mechanics. Presentations conducted by the counsellors and physics department faculty, demonstrations, and hands-on labs elaborated on and reinforced each day’s topic.
