NMSU’s 2018 Summer Camp will be held July 16th through July 20th, 10 am to 4 pm, and will be open to 20 students. This is a free camp and lunch will be provided. Ages and grade levels are accepted from 13 to 17 and 9th to 12th, respectively. Students will explore various physics topics and sciences, including mechanics, electricity and magnetism, light, and chemistry. Exploration of these topics will include demonstrations of the principles involved as well as explanations on why and how these principals work the way they do. This program introduces students to what is involved in the physics and engineering physics programs at NMSU – a great thing to experience for any student interested in the sciences.
