The Department of Physics and Society of Physics Students will be hosting a summer camp during the week of July 15 – July 19, 2019 in Gardiner Hall. The program will run from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Students will explore various physics topics and sciences, including mechanics, electricity and magnetism, light, chemistry, and astronomy. Exploration of these topics will include demonstrations of the principles involved as well as explanations on why and how these principals work the way they do. This program introduces students to what is involved in the physics and engineering physics programs at NMSU – a great thing to experience for any student interested in the sciences.
The camp is free to all participants and participants must have completed 7th grade and have not graduated from high school. Lunch and snacks will be provided!

The application is DUE by June 1, 2019. Applicants will receive word by June 15, 2019. APPLICATION IS CLOSED.
