Physics Summer Camp

In 2015, SPS designed, organized, and presented NMSU’s first physics summer camp. In 2016 and 2017, current SPS members organized and presented physics summer camps that drew from and built on 2015’s pilot program. The camp is a week-long program designed to introduce 9th-12th grade students to the fundamentals of physics, such motion and electricity and magnetism, through brief lectures and related hands-on projects and experiments. If you are interested in applying to attend the next camp, please see the above drop-down menu for more information.
